Important Disclosures
These disclosures summarize important boundaries for DermPro Connect, including who the platform is intended for, what it does not provide, how de-identified case information should be used, and how educational peer input should be understood.
DermPro Connect is intended for eligible healthcare professionals and approved Expert Faculty. It is not intended for patients, consumers, caregivers, or members of the general public. Do not submit Protected Health Information or identifiable patient information through the website or platform.
1. Overview
DermPro Connect is a provider-only, peer-to-peer educational collaboration platform. The platform helps eligible healthcare professionals connect with approved Expert Faculty for dermatology-focused educational case discussion using de-identified information.
These disclosures are intended to help users understand the nature and limits of the platform. They do not replace the DermPro Connect Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
Provider-only
DermPro Connect is designed for eligible healthcare professionals and approved Expert Faculty.
Educational only
Platform interactions are for peer education and professional learning.
No PHI
Users must not submit PHI or identifiable patient information.
AI-assisted routing
Automated tools may help route de-identified cases to relevant Expert Faculty.
2. Provider-Only Platform
DermPro Connect is intended for eligible healthcare professionals and approved Expert Faculty. It is not intended for patients, consumers, caregivers, or members of the general public.
Users may be asked to provide professional, credential, or profile information so DermPro Connect can support account review, user eligibility, Expert Faculty review, platform access, and related administrative workflows.
3. No Medical Care or Patient Services
DermPro Connect does not provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, emergency services, or direct patient services. DermPro Connect is not a healthcare provider, medical group, hospital, payer, insurer, pharmacy, or emergency service.
Platform use does not create a provider-patient relationship between any patient and DermPro Connect or between any patient and Expert Faculty.
DermPro Connect should not be used for urgent or emergent situations. If a patient may require emergency services, users must follow their local emergency protocols, including calling 911 in the United States or the appropriate emergency service in their jurisdiction.
4. Educational Peer Input Only
Expert Educational Reviews, Educational Case Discussions, Peer Input, and Live Peer Education Sessions are educational, informational, and peer-to-peer in nature.
Any information provided through the platform is intended to support professional learning and case-based education. It is not a substitute for a user’s own training, documentation, clinical reasoning, institutional policies, licensing obligations, or professional responsibilities.
5. No PHI or Identifiable Patient Information
DermPro Connect is not currently intended to receive, create, store, transmit, or process Protected Health Information or identifiable patient information. Users must not submit PHI or identifiable patient information through the website, platform, forms, uploads, messages, payment fields, profile fields, live discussions, or support communications.
Before submitting any educational case information, users must remove or obscure patient identifiers, including patient names, dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, medical record numbers, account numbers, insurance identifiers, full-face photographs, image metadata, unique identifying marks when not necessary, and any other information that could reasonably identify a patient.

6. Independent Professional Judgment
Healthcare professionals using DermPro Connect remain responsible for their own independent professional judgment, documentation, follow-up, prescribing decisions, referrals, patient communications, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, institutional policies, and professional standards.
Users should evaluate any educational peer input in the context of their own professional obligations, available information, local standards, and the needs of the situation.
7. Expert Faculty Role
Expert Faculty provide educational, peer-to-peer input based on de-identified information submitted through the platform. Expert Faculty do not assume responsibility for the submitting user’s professional decisions or for any patient relationship outside the platform.
Expert Faculty are expected to provide feedback that is professional, educational, case-based, and limited to the de-identified information available through the platform.
8. AI-Assisted Matching
DermPro Connect may use automated tools, matching logic, artificial intelligence, or similar technology to support routing, scheduling, case organization, user experience, and Expert Faculty matching.
These tools are intended to support platform workflow. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, monitor, predict, or manage any disease or condition. They should not be relied upon as medical advice or as the sole basis for any professional decision.
9. Live Peer Education Sessions
Live Peer Education Sessions are intended to be real-time educational discussions between authorized provider users. They should use de-identified information only.
DermPro Connect does not currently record, transcribe, or store live session audio, video, or transcripts. The platform may retain administrative records related to live sessions, such as scheduling data, attendance indicators, transaction records, technical logs, security logs, and support records.
If DermPro Connect later introduces recording, transcription, or session storage features, applicable notices and consent workflows will be updated before those features are made available.
10. CME and Educational Content
DermPro Connect may provide educational content, Expert Insights, platform resources, and case-based learning experiences. Unless expressly identified as accredited continuing medical education, platform content and sessions are not continuing medical education credit.
Any future CME offerings will be clearly identified and may be subject to separate terms, eligibility requirements, disclosures, and accreditation rules.
11. Payments and Third-Party Services
Payments, subscriptions, refunds, credits, and Expert Faculty payouts may be processed through third-party providers, including Stripe, Stripe Connect, Apple, Google, or similar providers.
DermPro Connect does not store full payment card numbers. Users should not include PHI or identifiable patient information in payment fields, payment descriptions, customer support messages related to payment, or third-party payment systems.
12. Privacy and Security
DermPro Connect uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect platform information. No internet-based system is perfectly secure.
Users are responsible for using secure devices, secure networks, strong passwords, and protecting their login credentials.
13. Beta, Launch, and Platform Updates
Some DermPro Connect features may be new, experimental, in beta, or subject to change. Features, workflows, pricing, access levels, availability, and platform functionality may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued as the platform evolves.
Users should review current platform screens, checkout pages, notices, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy for the most current information.
14. Terms, Privacy, and Legal Documents
These disclosures are a summary of important platform boundaries and should be read together with the DermPro Connect Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
If there is a conflict between these disclosures and the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will control to the extent applicable.
